Abstract

|
Among the tumors in the mediastinum, neurogenic tumor is the most common one and could be seen in the posterior mediastinum. Authors experienced a 62 years old male patient, whose chief complaints were cough and exertional dyspnea and chest X-ray film showed a huge mass with calcium deposit at its base. By the postoperative biopsy the, case was confirmed as neurogenic tumor, which is clinically rare. Postoperative course showed complete remission.
